The corrected radar images produce the best results for the amount of the precipitation and the time of the precipitation. In a thwsis part the output of the hydrological model is compared with the measured flow rate. The input for this model are the run off flow rates that were simulated with the hydrological model.

To evaluate this method, a comparison is made between the registered rainfall at different pluviographs, the corrected radar images and the original radar images. Method A uses a distance based relation between the cores of the precipitation zone in the radar images at time t-1 and time tto extrapolate the radar image.
